About Hope

Hope Bilingual Church is a Christian church in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.


No matter who you are or where you come from, we’re excited to welcome you and get to know you! We invite you to come join our community and grow in your faith alongside us as we seek to know and follow Christ together.

Four-Fold Vision

We are striving to be a church that engages in God-centered worship, equips every believer with God’s Word, builds community through love and accountability, engages the community locally and globally with the gospel.

Church Covenant

As a local body of believers, Hope Church is dedicated to faithfully following Jesus Christ in covenant with one another. Take a moment to explore the biblical confessions and commitments that we strive to embody.

  • Salvation

    I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

  • Scripture

    I confess that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, which has ultimate authority over my life.

  • Worship

    I commit to attending Sunday Worship at Hope Bilingual Church every week to the best of my ability.

  • Study

    I commit to attending and preparing for weekday Bible studies every week to the best of my ability.

  • Service

    I commit to building up and strengthening the body of Christ at Hope Bilingual Church by developing and using my spiritual gifts.

  • Giving

    I commit to fighting and giving financially in accordance with Christ’s lordship over my life.

  • Devotion

    I commit to a life of devotion, to pray regularly, interceding for the leadership and the members of Hope Bilingual Church.

  • Activities

    I commit to attending functions and activities to the best of my abilities for the purpose of building up the body of Christ at Hope.

  • Evangelism

    I commit to the best of my ability to advance the kingdom of God through sharing the gospel locally and globally.

  • Accountability

    I desire to be kept accountable by the leadership and other members of Hope Bilingual Church and to keep others accountable of the above covenants and teachings from Scripture.
